It's tough to find a bag that brings some of your outdoor spirit into the office. Most functional bags are made out of something stupid like alligator skin. Not the Field Bag from Mountain Khakis; it's made from 100% leather and heavy-duty canvas.
At 14.4 liters the Field Bag cradles up to a 15" laptop in it's padded compartment. I like that the bag isn't heavy and packed with things I don't need. I carry a bag only when I have to and don't want to be burdened with extra weight.
Thankfully, Mountain Khakis made the Field Bag pretty minimalistic without leaving off things I need. I loose pens, phones, and wallets with more than two pockets and I feel encouraged to pack things I don't need when I'm presented with extra pockets. The Field Bag hits my needs perfectly, even including a snap-in, removable pocket.
